Portici – Senso civico da parte di studenti che si sono impegnati nella causa ambientale. Insieme agli operatori della Leucopetra hanno ripulito il Parco Gussone Superiore di Palazzo Reale rimuovendo i rifiuti abbandonati.
Protagonisti gli studenti dell’Agraria (associazione universitaria studenti forestali) e gli operatori della Leucopetra (società del comune che si occupa dell’igiene urbana) che per
l’occasione ha messo a disposizione uomini e mezzi per riportare alla normalità lo splendido parco all’ interno della monumentale Reggia borbonica. Si sono dati appuntamento Domenica 16 Novembre 2014, di mattina alle 8,30 all’ ingresso di Palazzo Reale in via Università e armati di guanti hanno rimosso ogni tipo di
rifiuto abbandonato. L’iniziativa è nata dalla volontà del sindaco Nicola Marrone e del direttore del dipartimento di Agraria, professor Paolo Masi, nell’ ambito della collaborazione avviata da alcuni mesi dall’ Amministrazione comunale e la Facoltà recentemente giudicata la prima d’Italia dalle classifiche internazionali.
Sindaco e Direttore si sono uniti agli studenti e armati di kit messo a disposizione da Leucopetra hanno contribuito al successo dell’iniziativa. Portici nel mese di settembre ha fatto registrare il 66,2% di raccolta differenziata e con l’iniziativa di domenica la città vesuviana ha confermato la sua vocazione di luogo attento al rispetto per l’ambiente.
