La bellissima e bravissima attrice siciliana, Maria Grazia Cucinotta è stata a Napoli, presso il Convento di San Domenico Maggiore, per presentare un libro ed un documentario sulla figura di Chiara Vigo, ultimo maestro del bisso marino.
Intervistata da Diego Di Flora, l’ attrice ha ricordato con emozione la sua esperienza con Massimo Troisi recitando nel suo ultimo film Il Postino e non ha nascosto il suo amore e la sua stima per Napoli:
“perché Napoli è magica, è ricca culturalmente e sa accogliere questo tipo di ricchezza. Perché la gente riconosce il valore dell’artigianato e te ne accorgi in questo splendido posto dove ci troviamo, siamo circondati dall’arte e da opere meravigliose e vedi il vero ingegno. I napoletani sono geniali in tutto, loro riescono a tirare dal nulla l’oro: l’oro di Napoli“.
“Io faccio parte sempre del Regno delle due Sicilie e quindi riconosco questa terra come quella che mi ha visto nascere, un napoletano mi ha regalato una seconda vita, la vita della Cucinotta, m’ha ridato un’identità e quindi continuo a dirgli grazie e ad essere affezionata a Napoli e a tutta la sua gente perché per me quando ritorno qui significa ritrovare una famiglia, ritrovare delle persone che mi vogliono bene e soprattutto ritrovare la vita vera fatta di persone vere che ti entrano nel cuore, cose che non si comprano e non si vendono, un po’ come il bisso di mare“
