L’arte della felicita’,un film d’animazione uscito nel 2013 con la regia dell’artista napoletano Alessandro Rak,fumettista vincitore del Premio Arca Cinema Giovane, Premio Fedic e Premio Miglior Opera Prima al Raindance Festival di Londra, e presentato in anteprima al pubblico di Lucca Comics & Games 2013.
Il film e’ ambientato sotto il cielo scuro di una Napoli battuta dalla pioggia e all’apice del suo degrado con cumuli di spazzatura ad ogni angolo di strada e racconta la storia di Sergio, un ex pianista divenuto tassista. Sergio ha abbandonato la musica quando suo fratello maggiore Alfredo, con il quale condivideva la stessa passione, ha lasciato Napoli per trasferirsi in India. La scoperta della vera ragione della partenza di Alfredo condurrà Sergio a rinchiudersi nel suo taxi, che diviene un microcosmo in cui la sua storia incontra quella dei passeggeri, testimoni di una quotidianità per lungo tempo allontanato da sé, grazie ai quali troverà una nuova strada per la felicità.
Tocca temi filosofici, all’insegna di un’animazione complessa, stratificata, densa. Disegni così sorprendenti, anche per l’ampiezza dell’immaginario a cui attingono.
Forse viene mostrata sempre quella napoli che in realtà non esiste e che può offrire più di quello che la gente crede e magari troppe scene con la spazzatura che ne fa da padrona, ma per il resto e’ un’animazione che insegna tanto,con temi su come affrontare un nuovo amore,la famiglia,l’amicizia,su una nuova occasione,sulla speranza,la possibilità e sopratutto credere nei propri sogni!
