Il progetto dell’architetto Boris Podrecca dunque è quasi ultimato e sarà ricco di riferimenti storico-culturali, accomunati, si spera, anche all’efficienza del servizio di trasporto pubblico.
La stazione nascerà a Piazza San Pasquale sul lato di Mergellina e il suo impatto esterno dovrebbe essere minimo, ma a causa della realizzazione di un enorme marciapiede verrà sicuramente rivoluzionato il transito delle auto nella zona con la riproposizione su una porzione della Riviera di Chiaia del doppio senso di circolazione, come precisa IlMattino.
