Il viaggio alla scoperta della città partenopea comincerà dal sottosuolo, dalle tracce archeologiche più antiche lasciate da Greci e Romani. Tra i luoghi suggestivi della Napoli sotterranea, la squadra di Voyager esplorerà una tomba rimasta sigillata per oltre 2000 anni, dove nessuna telecamera è mai entrata.
E dalle cavità del sottosuolo ai resti di un passato sepolto dall’acqua e dal fuoco: una spettacolare docu-fiction ripercorrerà gli ultimi istanti di vita degli abitanti di Pompei, mentre Roberto Giacobbo si immergerà nel Golfo di Pozzuoli, dove l’attività vulcanica ha sommerso una delle più imponenti ville degli imperatori romani.
E ancora: le telecamere di Voyager, presenti nel Duomo di Napoli, cercheranno di fare chiarezza sul miracolo del sangue di San Gennaro e infine indagheranno sulla vita del principe di Sansevero, una delle figure più enigmatiche e geniali legate alla città di Napoli.
