A Vico Equense (Na), inaugurato il Museo del cinema del territorio e della penisola sorrentina

Inaugurato a Vico Equense il “Museo del cinema del territorio e della penisola sorrentina”, presso la sede del Museo Archeologico di corso Filangieri. L’incontro tra le bellezze paesaggistiche,l’arte e la cultura sorrentina.

 

La nuova struttura, realizzata grazie ai fondi stanziati nell’ambito del progetto  europeo”Promorecuperavalorizza Penisola”, è stata inaugurata  dall’assessore Antonio Di Martino  e da Giuseppe Alessio Nuzzo, direttore artistico del Social World Film Festival, la kermesse cinematografica che si svolge da quattro anni a Vico Equense.

Nel museo sono esposte decine di locandine e fotobuste originali dei film girati in penisola sorrentina: da “Pane amore e…” di Dino Risi  e “La cieca di Sorrento” di Nunzio Malasomma, passando per “Luna rossa” di Luigi Capuana e il “Decameron” di Pier Paolo Pasolini.  In esposizione, inoltre, anche un proiettore Pathé di fine ‘800 e la rivista “Cinema Nuovo” con due dive protagoniste:  Anna Magnani e Silvana Pampanini.

pizap.com14232621405812“L’idea alla base di questo museo – ha detto l’assessore Antonio  Di Martino – è ridare al cinema quel ruolo di volano culturale per il nostro territorio, come lo era in passato. Questo è solo l’inizio – ha spiegato- perché l’amministrazione si è già attivata per liberare anche le altre sale di questo edificio e  integrarle al museo ”.

Nel corso della conferenza di presentazione del la mostra si è accennato anche alla futura costruzione di un cinema a Vico Equense,  un evento atteso dai cittadini da oltre 30 anni, da quando fu chiusa l’unica sala cinematografica del paese.

pizap.com14232620335221Prima dell’inaugurazione ufficiale, autorità e giornalisti hanno attraversato la costiera a bordo di un trenino turistico, percorrendo le tappe in cui sono stati girati i film ambientati  tra Vico Equense e Sorrento.La storia del legame tra la settima arte e la penisola sorrentina, infatti,  ha radici lontane. Dalla nascita del cinema ad oggi, la bellezza dei paesaggi della costiera è stata scelta come set cinematografico naturale dai registi di tutto il mondo. Da Carmine Gallone ad Alessandro Blasetti e Dino Risi, passando per Pier Paolo Pasolini, Nanni Moretti e Lina Wertmuller.

vico_equense_museo_cinemaAnche il re della commedia americana, Billy Wilder, nel 1972, girò nell’Hotel Vittoria di Sorrento quasi tutti gli interni del suo film “Che cosa è successo tra mio padre e tua madre” con Jack Lemmon. Il regista tedesco Werner Fassbinder, invece, scelse l’Hotel Syrene e l’ ex albergo “Le terrazze” per ambientare “Attenzione alla puttana santa”, film del 1971.

“La filmografia sorrentina si è aperta da sempre alla storia del cinema internazionale – spiega Antonino De Angelis, autore del libro “Sorrento Movies. Il Cinema in costiera”, dove ha raccolto e schedato oltre 120 film e trenta documentari girati in costiera dagli anni ‘20 a oggi.

Sottolineare l’importanza di  questo solido rapporto, è stato anche l’obiettivo del documentario “Cinema in costiera” di Giuseppe Alessio Nuzzo, presentato in anteprima durante l’inaugurazione del Museo del cinema.  Il documentario, che sarà proiettato in modalità continua nelle sale della mostra, ripercorre la storia del cinema in costiera attraverso le immagini e i ricordi dei protagonisti dell’epoca: Gianluigi Rondi, Giacomo Rizzo, Giuliana Gargiulo, Raffaele Lauro, Carlo Croccolo, Giancarlo Giannini  e Giuseppe Visconti.

pizap.com14232621743903“Quello che stiamo cercando di fare – ha detto Giuseppe Alessio Nuzzo –  è valorizzare questi territori per la loro bellezza naturalistica e per il loro grande passato”.

Durante la conferenza stampa, inoltre, il direttore artistico del Social World Film Festival ha annunciato che nel 2015 la quinta edizione della kermesse si svolgerà dal  4 al 12 luglio ed ha anticipato che per l’occasione, grazie ai fondi del Ministero della Cultura, sarà girato un film che vedrà la partecipazione di giovani campani e di volti noti dell’industria cinematografica.
