Il famoso e noto tour operator americano,Rick Steves scrive nel suo sito turistico, un articolo della sua visita nella citta’ partenopea.Piu’ che una guida turistica alla citta’ potremmo dire che l’autore descrive un vero e proprio piano di attenzioni e consigli per evitare pericoli e caos e di fare molta attenzione a ladri posti ad ogni angolo di strada o fuori dalla stazione centrale.Tutte queste considerazioni scritte sono dovute ad ” un sentito dire ” cioe’ l’accettazione dei soliti luoghi comuni e stereotipi e non per l’esperienza personale della guida, che invece come scrive, ha trascorso i suoi giorni turistici in modo sereno.
ECCO COSA DESCRIVE DELLA CITTA’:
La città più “sporca, inquinata e piena di criminalità d’Italia. Dove i vecchi governi hanno rappresentato un esempio di cui la mafia sarebbe fiera”.
“ Puoi essere gettato a terra o spogliato dei tuoi beni per parlare con la gente”
” La stazione centrale “piena di ladri che cercano come prede disorientati turisti con i loro bagagli.”
“Mentre io viaggio tranquillamente ed in maniera confortevole nella Circumvesuviana, ogni anno sento le storie di molte persone che vengono derubate sui treni.”
” Napoli è la terza città più grande in Italia ma ha quasi nessun spazi aperti o parchi “
“Più sporca, inquinata e piena di criminalità d’Italia.”
” I ragazzi sempre in moto per il centro storico o appoggiati ai lampioni mentre le ragazze vanno in tre o quattro a cavallo della stessa moto “

Napoli ha le sue contraddizioni e gli evidenti problemi,come in qualsiasi altra grande metropoli, non possono essere nascosti ma, su un sito cosi’ visitato dalla curiosita’ di tantissimi turisti made USA, non crediamo che si dovrebbero scrivere cose non vissute dall’autore,che preferisce soffermarsi e descrivere gli stereotipi o le voci ascoltate in giro invece di dare un giusto giudizio e una degna considerazione ad una visita in citta’.
Invitiamo Rick a ritornare e stavolta magari, a scoprirne la vera essenza,i veri profumi e colori di una citta’ millenaria ricca di arte,storia e cultura…!
