Se l’inverno che ci aspetta sarà pieno di freddo siberiano e neve è colpa dei mutamenti climatici.Secondo un nuovo studio di ricercatori coreani e americani, ci aspettano quindi mesi durissimi. Il riscaldamento globale sta causando lo scioglimento dei ghiacci polari, innescando un effetto a catena: l’acqua ghiacciata che si riversa negli oceani altera le correnti oceaniche del Golfo, che percorrono l’oceano dal Messico fino alle regioni al nord della Scandinavia, creando forti instabilità che si ripercuotono sull’atmosfera. Se da una lato l’aria continua a riscaldarsi, le temperature degli oceani scendono causando così sbalzi termici. Se la teoria citata fosse vera, da dicembre a marzo potrebbero avere temperature fino a meno venti gradi al Nord, al CentroSud fino a meno dieci e in montagna potrebbero arrivare addirittura a meno trenta. La neve potrebbe cadere abbondante su Torino, Milano, Bologna, Genova e Venezia.
Ma arriverebbe anche a Roma e tanto possibile anche a Napoli e addirittura a Palermo.Nel capoluogo campano l’ultima abbondante nevicata risale nel febbraio del 56′ con temperature, scese di notte a –2.
Un sud imbiancato quindi, beh allora dovrà essere proprio un inverno glaciale!
