Il crescente numero di vegetariani e vegani in Italia sembra aver convinto anche i macellai a vendere prodotti alternativi alla carne. Il signor Gennaro Gagliano, di Napoli, ha infatti deciso di dedicare una parte del suo bancone a cotolette, hamburger e spinacine in versione vegetariana, a base di verdure, legumi, soia e tofu.
Quello del signor Gagliano, però, non è il primo esperimento di “macelleria vegetariana” in Italia. Risale allo scorso febbraio, infatti, la decisione della signora Porzia di trasformare la sua macelleria MìMì a Bari in un luogo interamente dedicato all’alimentazione vegetariana e vegana.
Il signor Gennaro di Napoli, invece, ha preso una decisione meno drastica, concentrando solo in una parte del bancone i prodotti vegetariani. Una scelta, a detta sua, fatta più per accontentare tutti i tipi di clientela che per abbracciare lo stile di vita “cruelty free“.
Ora resta da verificare se piacerà a vegetariani e soprattutto vegani convinti l’idea di acquistare dei prodotti che condividono uno spazio con lombata, girello e braciola… Chiederemo al signor Gagliano!
